The past few weeks have been some of the biggest & busiest weeks of the whole year so far… I got engaged (!!!), was offered a full time job at the firm I was temping at, and I have been prepping for my first wedding of the season coming up this weekend – needless to say my style guide fell to the back burner!

Even with all of this change happening, I am finally starting to settle into a regular blogging routine & the style guides will once again be coming on the first Monday of every month… starting in June 😉

May is such a confusing month for me, style-wise. One day it may be raining and 40 while the next day is beautiful, sunny & 90 – is it just me or does Virginia just seem to skip over Spring?! I ended up deciding on an outfit that just screamed Spring to me, because I’m the kind of person that dresses for myself and not necessarily for the weather!

My coral chiffon skirt was not exactly the same shade that was on my crop top or my lipstick, but I thought they looked quirky and not too matchy-matchy that way. Paired with my feminine ballet bun and black ankle strap heels, this look was actually incredibly comfortable & definitely fun to wear downtown!
