When Mac & Darren reached out to me about photographing their fall wedding, I was SO excited! Mac and I played field hockey together in high school (aka died together during field hockey) and she is such a sweetheart, so I knew her fiance would be as well. What I wasn’t expecting was that they would be hilarious! When my couples & I vibe with the same sense of humor (typically very dry & sarcastic) I know we are going to get those magical moments on camera.

We took these engagement pictures back in March at the gorgeous Belmont Estate in Fredericksburg Virginia. Even though it was a chilly overcast day, they were total champs & we were able to bring a springtime-vibe to their session!

I also like to live vicariously through my clients who bring their dogs along with them to sessions, and Rocket and Ember were no exception – they were absolute angels!

I cannot wait for your wedding in September, Mac & Darren!! It is going to be beautiful!
