The day is FINALLY HERE, AHH!! I have had this day marked down in my calendar for almost 6 months, friends. Now that might sound a little crazy, but let me explain! I knew that once I graduated from Virginia Tech I would have more time to invest in making this site everything I wanted it to be. I wanted something classic with a touch of dreamy; something unique and something that really represented where I wanted my business to go. So I circled a random Wednesday in early Spring – and what do you know, it just so happened to be today!!

Now, I know that some of you are going to notice one big thing. When I was in the planning stages of putting together a new website, one of my biggest concerns was being able to bring over all of my old blog posts. I poured so much time & effort into each and every one of them, and I knew that you guys would want to be able to look back at them as well. Well, the more and more I thought about it, the less sense it made for me dump all of my old blogs into this new space. My equipment has been upgraded,my knowledge has increased tenfold, and i thought to myself why shouldn’t my blog get an upgrade, too?!

So, with that being said, I will not be bringing any of my previous posts over! What I will be doing is posting new blogs covering some of the same topics I have covered in my previous blog posts. Things like top 5 tips for posing clients, how to create bokeh, and what’s in my bag will all be gracing the blog and will be getting an upgrade in information!

Now that it is finally done, I feel like I can actually sit down and relax! Take a peek around, browse the galleries, and let me know what you think! I am SO excited for this new chapter of Kirby K Photography!!
